I’ve turned my journey with severe PTSD, depression and suicide attempt into a new life purpose. Quite selfishly, I want to make sure the challenges I experienced were not just for the sake of suffering, were not in vain, and that there was some meaning to why I went through what I went through.

I had the opportunity to be part of a Global News story regarding equine therapy. The story focused on a retired Toronto Police Horse named Trillium and how Trillium, along with equine therapist Lyndsey McKeown, help first responders with their recovery from occupational stress injuries like PTSD.
